Phosphorus removal

Phosphorus removal was organized in water-treatment plants to fight against eutrophization problems. For the most part of the plants, biological phosphorus removal is not sufficient to reach the expected levels of release standards, and the use of coagulants becomes a necessity.

Our range :
Polyaluminium chlorides : Aquarhône range,
blended salts : Ferrapac and Ferraclar range,
Ferric salts : Aquafer ®, ferric chloride

Aquarhône 18D, an interesting technical and economical alternative to iron salts :
- Decrease coagulant consumption and the deliveries number
- Decrease sludge production,
- Less acidification of the biological system,
- Less corrosion of the installations
- No color of the effluent,
- Decrease of bulking phenomena

Aquafer ®, iron salt without chlorides, another alternative in ferric chloride with numerous advantages:
- Not corrosive towards metals and concrete
- Adapted to the existing installations of storage and injection
- Miscible with ferric chloride
- equivalent performance to the FeCl3, at a lower cost
