Feralco Environnement obtains a subsidy from the French Recovery Plan to strengthens its Aquafer® production workshop at its Nantes site

Construction works are launched on our Nantes mineral coagulants workshop for a start in the summer of 2022!

The purpose of this work is to increase and consolidate the production of Aquafer®, a reagent based on liquid iron sulphate used for the treatment of phosphorus in wastewater. The ambition is to triple the production capacity of this unit, which initially started up in pilot form in 2015. The Aquafer is an innovative product without equivalent in Europe and which has experienced growing demand since its start-up. This project was funded by the government as part of the recovery plan. The goal is to support strategic sectors.

Feralco Environnement, as the only producer of mineral coagulants in western France, will be able to support its many customers by providing local solutions and giving them opportunities to improve their carbon footprint.
