Feracid , a joint-venture between Feralco Environnement and Novacid , is pleased to announce the start of the production unit of ferric chloride .
The initial schedule is followed and the unit is operational in terms of quality and capacity.
This new unit of 50,000mt capacity make it possible to answer the increasing demand for high performance mineral coagulants in the treatment of potable and waste water.
Feracid aims to provide a quality service both in terms of product specifications , in terms of reliability of supply.
This Feracid unit is established on the Chemical Platform in Pont-de-Claix (Isere) where Novacid has significant sources of hydrochloric acid, a key product in the manufacture of ferric chloride.

NOVACID belongs to group NOVACAP, based in Lyon, which also includes the companies, NOVAPEX (phenol, acetone, isopropanol (IPA)) and NOVACARB (Sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium sulphate).
