Treatment of hydrogen sulphide

Hydrogen sulphide (H2S), a gas with the characteristic smell of rotten eggs, comes from the decomposition of organic matter. It can accumulate in the sewerage networks at the risk of causing corrosion of structures and serious intoxication for operators.

Iron salts such as ferric chloride and Aquafer precipitate sulphides and are one of the most effective and least expensive curative treatments.
